Speaking of agua, I'm trying to teach the child the concept of water in mini chemistry sessions while she takes her bath. Now, I know the only word she probably understands at 6 months is her name and that only because she hears it all the time with something having to do with her. I know all of this and yet every time I stick her in the bath I go over hydrogen and oxygen and how the hydrogen twins each have one hand and oxygen has to hold them while they cross the street else they'll turn into an hydronium ion (I can't come up with anything clever about that one). It's a ridiculous little story but hey, like I said, she has no clue what I'm saying.
H2O is one of the only compounds I remember from Organic Chemistry. That and NaCl/sodium chloride/salt. And carbon makes four bonds. You're welcome for the free lesson.
